| Q1: |
Which edition should I choose? |
| A: |
If you have a single email address using an ISP or webmail domain (The domain
is the part of your email address to the right of the @ sign.), the Home
Edition
is for you.
If you have 2 to 5 email addresses using ISP or webmail domains - or if you want to apply Spam Slicer to email addresses of up to 5 users, the Home Edition Family Pack is your choice.
If you use multiple AOL screennames (up to 5), select Home Edition Family Pack.
If you have more than 5 users OR if you want to power an entire domain (example: you@yourcompany.com) with Spam Slicer capabilities, select the Small Business Edition.

| Q2: |
How do I use Spam Slicer with multiple email accounts? |
| A: |
To use Spam Slicer with up to 5 email accounts, select the Home Edition Family Pack, which will power up to 5 email addresses and give you up to 5 virtual email IDs.
For more than 5 email addresses, you'll need the Small Business Edition.
With all Spam Slicer editions, you can use your subscription for as many computers as you want - for the covered email addresses. So if you pick up your mail at 2, 3 or even 10 computers, your license covers them all - for the email addresses listed on your account.

| Q3: |
How do I use Spam Slicer with multiple computers? |
| A: |
To use Spam Slicer with more than one computer, simply
set up each computer to recognize Spam Slicer as listed in the set up
instructions for your email software. (You'll find the instructions when
you login to your account.) If you use different email software on the
different computers (for instance, Outlook at work and Outlook Express
or Mac Mail at home), the set up will be different in the different locations.
To use Spam Slicer with a web-based email service (such as Hotmail or Yahoo!mail) that you use from multiple systems, you simply need to set it up once for your web-based mail account. It will automatically carry over to all computers from which you access that account.

| Q4: |
How do I upgrade to family pack? |
| A: |
Users of Spam Slicer Home Edition can upgrade to the Family Pack by logging in to their Spam Slicer account; then selecting [Renew or Upgrade Now].

|
| Q5: |
How do I redeem a coupon or special offer? |
| A: |
When
you sign up for Spam Slicer or renew or upgrade, you'll see a spot where
you can provide your "Activation code or coupon". Type in the appropriate
code. If the offer is still available, this will either adjust your price
at payment time or provide us with your information to send the bonus.
Coupons are usually for one-time use and turn off automatically at their
expiration dates. So please make sure that you redeem them during the valid
time period.

|
| Q6: |
Do I have to give you my email address and phone number? |
| A: |
You
must give us your email address or we won't be able to send you your
mail. However you may change your address at any time. Please make sure
that you let us know when you change where you would like to receive your
mail. To do so, login to your account, and select "edit account information".
Your phone number is optional. If you want to be able to receive our phone calls in cases where phone support is appropriate, we need to know where to call.
We respect your privacy. In both cases, you're covered by our privacy policy.

|
| Q7: |
Can I use My Current Email Address? |
| A: |
Yes. Spam Slicer is set up to be able to use your current
email account. You also get a new virtual email ID that you can use instead
of your normal email account when you sign up for lists, post your address
on the web, or give out your email address in other ways that pose a
spam risk. This helps you avoid new spam and protect email addresses
that are not yet encountering junk email problems.
When you set up your Spam Slicer account, you can activate
a "lockdown" mechanism
that locks your current email address in such a way as it only allows mail
to arrive if it comes through Spam Slicer or from somebody in your address
book. This blocks junk email that is already targeting your email inbox.

| Q8: |
Do I Have To Have My Address @SpamSlicer.com? |
| A: |
With the Home Edition and Family Pack, you may choose from several cool domains that are presented to you at the time you sign up.
With the Small Business Edition, we can power your entire domain with Spam Slicer technology. (Available only if you have administrator or technical privilege for your domain) Or we can power a brand new domain for you - if available.

|
| Q9: |
Can I select my own domain to use with my virtual email ID? |
| A: |
If you want to use a domain that you own, you may sign up for Spam Slicer Small Business Edition, where we can power your entire domain.
We cannot power your current domain if you do not own
it. So if your current email address uses an ISP or other domain - such
as @aol.com,
@hotmail.com, or @verizon.com, you'll need to sign up for Spam Slicer
Home Edition (individual or Family Pack), and use a virtual email ID
at one of our domains. You can continue to use your current email address
by enabling Spam Slicer's lockdown.

| Q10: |
Can I use my work address with Spam Slicer? |
| A: |
You can power all the email addresses at your company
domain with Spam Slicer if you sign up for the Small Business Edition.
If you want to use Spam Slicer for a single email
address at your domain, you'll use Spam
Slicer Home Edition and designate your work email
address as the destination
mailbox where we send your Spam Slicer mail. Then turn on
the
appropriate
Spam Slicer lockdown for your email software at your office. This will
allow you to lock out junk email for your own business mailbox, and use
the virtual email ID that comes with your Spam Slicer Home Edition account
to give to newsletters, online merchants, and to post on the web when
needed.

| Q11: |
How Do You Block Junk From My Current Address If You Assign Me A New Address? |
| A: |
The Spam Slicer lockdown mechanisms are designed to work with specific types of email accounts. When you enable the appropriate lockdown, and set up your email software to recognize Spam Slicer, you create a bond between your email software and Spam Slicer that locks out unwanted mail. It allows mail through for people in your address list or acceptable senders list, as well as mail that comes through Spam Slicer.

|
| Q12: |
Does Spam Slicer work with email forwarding or aliasing services? |
| A: |
If your email forwarding or aliasing service uses a domain that you own and have rights to manage, you can redirect your email domain to Spam Slicer instead of the forwarding service. This would allow you to power your domain with Spam Slicer technology while using it exactly as you do with your email forwarding or aliasing service.
If you do not own the rights to the domain, and if the email forwarding or aliasing service provides message rules capability, Spam Slicer should work with your service. You would use a new Spam Slicer virtual email ID for your high spam risk situations; and enable lockdown to block email that doesn't come from people in your address book, acceptable senders list, or Spam Slicer.
If your email forwarding or aliasing service does not have message rules, it probably won't work with Spam Slicer.
Please do not try to forward your mail from another address to your Spam Slicer virtual email ID. Your mail will come through fine - but it isn't the correct set up, and therefore, won't effectively protect you from spam. Instead, you'll have your virtual email ID deliver into your other address.

| Q13: |
Does Spam Slicer work with spam filters that I already have installed? |
| A: |
Spam Slicer works fine with most software that filters mail, including add-ons and special email management software.
|
| Q14: |
Do I need anything special on my computer to use Spam Slicer? |
| A: |
You need to have a software package or ISP/email provider
account that allows you to use message rules. Software that falls into
this category includes Outlook Express, Outlook, and Mac Mail. AOL, Hotmail,
and Yahoo!mail, also fall into this category. We provide set up instructions
for each of these, and full Spam Slicer support. Other software products
have similar capability, and are eligible for limited Spam Slicer support.
These
limited support products include
Netscape,
Eudora,
Prodigy, LycosMail, and Juno 6.

| Q15: |
Can I use Spam Slicer with a Mac? |
| A: |
Spam Slicer works great with a Mac. We support Mac Mail for OS X, and provide set up instructions. We also support web-based products such as Hotmail and Yahoo!mail. Other Mac based software works - but we don't provide support.

| Q16: |
I signed up with the wrong destination email address. Can I change it? |
| A: |
You
can change your destination email address (where we send your email)
at any time. You can do it during your sign up - when you confirm your
information; or you can login to your active account, and click on "Edit account info".
If you have signed up for Spam Slicer Home Edition Family Pack, you may change any of the destination addresses by logging in as the primary user, and clicking on "Edit
account info" while the dashboard shows the email account that you want to change.

|
| Q17: |
Is my information private and safe? |
| A: |
Spam Slicer respects your privacy. The information that you provide us during sign up is protected by our privacy agreement. Your mail is sent directly to your destination inbox. Except for the automated processes that are used to help you control your mail, Spam Slicer looks like a simple hop on the net along the path from the sender to you.
