Spam Slicer start-up takes about
10 to 15 minutes for most people to understand
and set up in three easy steps.
1. Sign up for the Spam Slicer service that fits
you: Home, Family Pack or Small Business Editions.
2. Turn on lockdown (if required).
If you're using Spam Slicer with an existing, spam
laden email account, turn on the "lockdown.".
We have customized several different lockdown
mechanisms that work with your ISP and/or email
software to block senders that aren't in your
address book if they don't go through Spam Slicer.
If you're using Spam Slicer as a preventative
tool, you may even be able to delay turning on
the lockdown.
3. Set up your ISP or email software.
Once registered, you'll find set-up instructions
for your favorite email service or software,
including AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo!Mail, Outlook Express,
Outlook and Mac Mail. If your ISP or email software
supports message rules, it probably supports
Spam Slicer.
To perform steps 2 and 3, simply login to the
Spam Slicer account you created in step 1. You
don't even need to download any software.
